it was fun making things move. I learned that i whant to be a coder.
yes.
Well, I liked the games we played, since I like logic games. I learned that coding takes practice. I did not write a code, since I was absent when we did.
1.)I liked that we could take a break from class and do something different but we are still learning.
2.)I learned that behind every online game the creator used code to create it
3.)yes I wrote a code to have a dog make a square and put a ball in every corner and then pick the balls up
1.I liked how we learned to do what the programmers that make our games do.
2. I learned that it is not extremely hard to program something.
3.I wrote a code that made a dog writes "Hi".
What I liked about Hour of Code was being able to make things move, and animate them. What I learned about computer programming is that you need to use special symbols, not just normal writing. I wrote a code for Karol the dog so that it puts down all the balls, and then picks them all up.

I liked the hour of code because we got to program a figure to do what we wanted it to do. I learned some of the language of computer programming and I learned how to program a figure to do what I want. I wrote a code for Karel the Dog, and made him put a tennis ball in each corner and then take it away. I really enjoyed the hour of code we had here at DSMS.
I LIKED THAT YOU COULD GIVE COMMANDS TO THINGS AND MAKE THEM DO WHAT YOU WANT. I LEARNED HOW TO CODE AND HOW TO CONTROL SOMETHING ON A COMPUTER. I DID WRITE A CODE. iT MADE KAREL THE DOG FILL THE ENTIRE BOX WITH YELLOW CIRCLES.
During our hour of code I enjoyed getting to make each character move around the way I wanted to like in Codes with Karel. I learned about commands and how to type them correctly. Yes, I did write a code for Codes with Karel I put that in my Google drive account.
What I liked about the hour of code was that you could make different patterns, for example on Karel the Dog.
I learned that computer programming involves a lot of different controls on the computer and you have to know what you are doing and you have to know all the different controls there are.
I wrote codes on Tynker and Code with Karol the Dog.
I liked how we could move Karel the dog from place to place and do different things! I learned that hour of coding is useful to make apps and programs. Yes i wrote a code for Karel the dog i was trying to make Karel move around the square and place tennis balls around the square. I did Karel the Dog, Tynker, and the turtle!

I was fun to play around with Karle the dog and turtle pond thing. and that you can do more then just playing games and you can create stuff. I did a code but sadly did not save so... That was my experience with code
I enjoyed our Hour of Code because I found it interesting to be able to move animals around such as Karel the Dog and the turtle. Through the Hour of Code I learned that there is a special code that computers use and people use who are creating things electronically. I did write a code for Karel the Dog. My code made Karel leave tennis balls in almost every space in the box.
1) I liked the hour of code because I got to program different animals/figures and learn different commands for each of the animals.
2) I learned how to get each animal/figure to do what I told it to do using code.
3) I wrote a code for Karel the dog. I used code to make Karel drop tennis balls and make a square, then Karel started to fill in the square.
I liked playing around with coding games online. I learned that computer programming needs lots of controls and commands given by you. I also learned that coding isn't as hard as it seems and anybody could learn how to do it.When I got home from school, I was so excited to show my brothers, sister, and parents how to code! I made many different codes for online coding games.
I liked making massive scripts for Karel to follow and watching her do exactly what I want her to do. I learned coding jobs in the real world are needed but not enough people know how to code. I wrote a Karel code that put tennis balls all aroud the edge, and a turtle code and a tnker code.
1. I liked how we got to program the animal or the website to do what we wanted.I also liked learning about Grace Hopper.
2. I learned that you need to form the commands in a special way so that they work. If there was the slightest error the programming would not work so you have to double check your work alot.
3. I made a code get Karel the dog to make a B with tennis balls and
1.) I liked how you can make things move without just pressing a single button, you can do different commands with different buttons and you can kind of teach yourself how to do it.
2.) I learned how to move something in karel the dog (my personal favorite)you had to say a command and then following that, you had to type this ();
3.) I made a code on karel the dog, i made the dog put tennis balls down and go back around and pick them up.

1) What I liked about hour of code is how we programed something to move wherever we wanted it to move
2)I learned that ever you do on a computer can be done in code also.
3)The codes I wrote where move(); turnLeft(); put Ball(); takeBall();

I liked doing Karle the dog and using tynker and playing games with code. That you can typing commands on the computer and then the thing would move. I made it look like Karle was running around and picking up the ball and dropping the ball.
1 - I liked being able to write my own code, rather than just learn about it.
2 - I learned that almost every website, game, video, etc. on the internet is made up of code.
3 - I programmed Karol the dog to put down a bunch of tennis balls to make an X shape. Then, at the end, he would do a flip.
I thought it was really fun and I enjoyed learning about code. I made a box and it was so cool. I learned that they need people that can code.
I thought that it was really fun to do. I loved the games that we played, because it was fun but you also had to think about it. I learned that when you code it has to be specific because if it isn't the same as the other ones it won't work. I wrote a code to Karel to spell the letter P with balls.
I like how we took time out of class to learn code. It was very interesting to learn!
1.) Well usually I go home and see my dad on the computer and I ask him "Dad why are you still on the computer" and he says because I am finishing up my code...now I see why he is always on his computer, because code is so ADDICTING! So I like that now I know how to do code!!!
2.) I learned that usually the second word in the coding starts with the first letter capitalized
3.) I did write a code, I made Karel create an A and then take it away and now I am starting to make an M!
Making code
How to program
Yes
I liked how we could control actions on a computer depending on what we assigned the computer to do. I learned everything has to be very precise when programming. I wrote a code.
I absolutely loved the hour of coding. The code that I made I think is cool. When I get into college I want to take a programing class. :)

I think that it was fun and i hope to do more of coding!!!
The hour of code was a lot of fun. I liked the games a lot, it made it very interesting and fun to learn. It made me realize that everything online takes coding and that coding takes a lot of practice. I made a code that made the dog make a C and it was very fun and interesting.
I really had fun coding this weekend! I went to Code Avengers and did a lot of the challenges. Also, I finished Coding M with Karel. One more thing I did was experiment with what I learned in JavaScript.
It was really fun and i like how it touch you about coding i work on karl the dog
Jackie Block D
coding is really easy
I loved doing the hour of code!! I learned if you're going to try coding don't be overwhelmed its really easy. I made Karel the dog fill the whole box with balls and it took 69 codes.
Ty block D
I liked making the balls make a word
and hope to do more.
awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really liked the hour of code because I learned how difficult it is sometimes to make a code and how long it takes. I made a code for a turtle to cross and dodge trees into a pond.
I liked that the zombie game was really fun. I learned that it isnt that complicated to make a game. No i didnt write a code.
I liked getting to experiment with different variations of creating codes. I learned that it takes awhile to create a code. I made a code by making a turtle walk to a pond.
I liked the hour of code since we could create our own games to play. I learned that programming can be very fun if you know how to do it. I wrote a code for a game where I had to shoot 7,000 space zombies one at a time.
Well, it was pretty fun and i learned sooooooo much. I didn't really learn anything about coding. i Made a dog jump around and i made a zombie game.
I liked the hour of code because I learned a lot about coding and how it takes awhile to make a code and how difficult it is sometimes. I made a code for a turtle to dodge trees and hop into a pond.
It was fun making the puppy flip out in a explosion of rainbowness. It was hilarious and i might want to be a coder
I liked being able to have the day to try different games. I learned that you use a lot of different ways to code, like words, symbols, and arrows. I did write a code.
1) I liked having a break from class, and having some time to just play some games.
2)I learned it's a lot harder than you would think!
3)I did codes I never thought I could do.
I think it was pretty fun. I found that making a game is not that hard.
1)I liked it because you can make and control what something does and we get to learn these skills for when were older.
2)I learned that computer programming is a pretty easy thing to do, at least like the basic stuff.
3)I wrote a code on scratch and i made a character and made it do and say stuff.
The hour of code was really fun. I liked it because I got to learn how to program and that it isn't as hard as it seems.
1)It was cool to try something new.
2)To create things like websites and video/computer games you must use code.
3) I created a short sketch on Scratch.

1. It was cool to map out where the turtle would be and where he had to go to get in the pond
2. It is all a bunch of chain events because every thing to click has something programmed to do a specific thing
3. I didn't program a game or anything, but I played the turtle game without the grid
1)It was fun
2)It's hard
3)Yes
1)I liked that in the hour of codding we got to learn how to make things move.
2)In the computer programming, i learned how to make things move.
3)Yes i did write a code. I used the Scratch.
I LIKED HOW I COULD JUST CHOOSE A COMMAND AND SEE WHAT DOG DID, THEN PRETTY SOON I HAD THE DOG PICKING UP AND PUTTING DOWN TENNIS BALLS
I LEARNED THAT PEOPLE WHO MAKE GAMES MUST HAVE A LOT OF TIME AND MUST DO A LOT OF WORK IN ORDER FOR MY ENTERTAINMENT
YES I MADE A WEIRD SHAPE WITH VARIOUS TENNIS BALLS
1)What I really liked about Hour or code is that we had a whole class on learning a lesson just by playing games and drawing.
2)What I learned about computer programming is that just by commanding something to do something by commands has a big effect on future computer programming.
3)I wrote a code by playing a game about zombies and i really enjoyed it.
1.What I liked about the hour of code was that it wasn't boring and that there was many things that I could do.
2.What I learned about computer programming is how to make something move on its own using commands.
3.I did write a code one was to make a dog jump and go around objects. I also did a similar one that was a little different but it was getting a turtle to a pond.
